The symptoms I have had are: nausea, sensitivity to the lights, the most severe headache I have ever had (feels like the top of your head has blown off). The only way to tell for sure is to have a spinal tap done. I have never had the achy joints,etc. Just a few weeks ago I did have the back pain, so bad that I couldn't move but don't believe it had anything to do with meningitis. If you have any question at all that it might be something other then the flu, go to the ER and insist on the tap. Please email me if you have any questions. Also, if you are suffering from fever and your hands and feet are ice cold those are definite symtoms. Please get checked . Hi Terri!!!
