Guest guest
Hi carolyn, I noticed your message about the leg wraps. Have you wrapped them before? I have been doing that now for 1 1/2 year 24 hours. I use to get cellulitis infections and in hospital 4 times in two years for it. Yes it is uncomfortable but after having the terrible pain from the cellulitis at least now that swelling is down it keeps the infection down with the skin not so stretched to the point of weeping skin. That is me. I Just wanted to wish you the best with this. I did not even know about lymphedema and a lot of doctors either , I was referred to healthsouth rehab which i went in 5 weeks and stayed there with the message therrapy on the lymph system and wrappings. The reason I was in patient I also had 2 big bad wounds on heels. Now I wrap at home and have one more wound and healing I pray. Anyway the messaging to open the lymph systemnd wraps have helped a lot. Hugs Sophia
Guest guest
Dear Sophia Thank you for all the help. I have wrapped my legs before but they weren't this painful or as swollen as now. What I am really concerned about is a lump on each side of the knee. These lumps are getting bigger and are very painful. The Dr. checked them yesterday and said she didn't know what they are either. She would like to do a doppler on them, but I can't deal with the pain when it is so bad. I've had 5 dopplers done with nothing being accomplished. I have had several of the best Drs. in St. Louis with no help at all. I've been reading all that you post since we seem to be going through some of the same problem. Your legs weep, mine hasn't done that. Hopefully they won't. I will continue to remember you and hope we can find help. Hugs gently Carolyn
