I'm a fan of the show, but I'm even more of a fan of people w/DS so I had to

read the rest of the post. I will watch with interest how they handle it.

I also like Judging Amy, which follows the Guardian on Tuesday nights. They

wimped out on the pre-natal diagnosis issue last season. One of the

characters had a pre-natal diagnosis of possible mosaic Trisomy 18. The mom was

in

severe denial about the whole pregnancy and went ahead even though the father

wanted to discuss terminating the pregnancy. The baby was born without any

genetic problems. I think they wimped out because they never explained why the

test hadn't worked, or how only certain cells could have been involved.

Hi,

So I watched " The Guardian " last nite for the first time (I think shows at

9:00 arent usually good for me- still putting kids to bed). But I did like it

and am anxious to see how this story line will play out.

So, is it safe for me to assume that the Guardian's 'girlfriend " , the one

that's pg will get her prenatal dx of ds?

I can't wait to see next weeks show! Lets try to remind each other, cause

surely, I may forget, LOL!

Yup, Lulu is the only pregnant one I know of. I checked the cbs website &

checked my DTV program guide & next week's show is a repeat -- not the one they

promised. Maybe the week after?

Ugh- I'm really hot to see this show, the one we wanna see and send in my

responses about it. We'll keep checking and keep watching and hopefully they

wont go in the same direction that Judging Amy did.

maybe we should start contacting CBS now and say how much we really want to

see this story line developed- whadda think?
