We need to see some lifespan studies in fruit flies and mice taking resveratrol to see if they produce results similar to those found in the fish study. In the meantime I will continue to drink cold climate pinot noir from time to time, so that if it is the resveratrol that is a significant source of the health benefits of wine, I will not be missing out.
