Guest guest
Hello every body, I've been reading every ones comments and everything that has been going on. I did get to have a nice early christmas. The family was nice to forward the time and date on my account. they made me feal wonderful and welcome. As festive as it all was I'm now down again. I don't think it is the holiday blues, I'm not playing stupid or not accepting what is goig on. It is not just the same. Looks like some of you are having a time of it also. Don't know how I can cheer you up either. The blood transfusions are helping my numbers, but the corta-cortisone is leaving my stomach turned inside out. You guys chatting the other day got me laughing to tears. It reminded me of the times I had wanted to forget while I was in the service. We had some some really good times and laughs. But my first Christmas there I was in the hospital then too. The nurses where our support group as they tried to make us feel at home. and really they did But in the same since as today it just is not the same. That was my first time with a bout of an irregular heart beat. It showed up with a bout of pheumonia. I was in germany and the hospital was a tent. This was the modern Army of its' day.Them nurses never let us down, and neither do they today. The home nurse that comes to see me though is really confused. When my daughter is out doing chores and whatnots. My ex-wife come over to keep an eye on me. She gets to spend some time with the grand son, but to them it don't make the news. so where we normaly get to rass the nurses they spend their time trying to figure this one out. Thanks guys for the laughs and the encouragement, and the holiday cheer. If things keep going the way they are going it should be at least three more weeks. I feel good just exhausted. And if I don't answere you all back, I'm reading all your posts, filing them, and when I feal up to sitting up again I'll spend some time answering them. Wish you all good health and a merry Christmas. Tim PS ssd raise su!!!!!!!!ks

My daughter helped me digitize a picture of Dylan and I. I'm in better spirits and seem to have a little more enegery. I got to go to town and see all the decorations and the husteling crowds. Monday morning we are going to put our ham on the grill at about 5:30 so as to be done at 2:00 in the afternoon. Snow is the only thing lacking around here. Most winters come early enough to cover the ground completely. Maybe that is what I'm missing this year and not the mood swings that is throwing off the holiday spirit. Hope the little mity might, Dylan my biggest encouragement makes your day as cheery as he does mine. Merry Christmas!!!! Tim
