I just thought that I would write a quick message ... seems like I haven't

posted in a while.

I, too, got up way early this morning ... our power went out last night, and

I didn't know what time it was when I woke up, but I just got up and took a

shower anyway, and when I came to check my e-mail, I noticed that it was

only 6:50 a.m.! hehe :-) WOW!!! I guess that I slept REALLY well last night,

because I'm wide awake now. It's so weird that we all got up early today!

haha :-)

Just to share what I've been working on, I made a wedding thank-you gift

basket to sell on eBay (I haven't had any luck selling things on eBay,

though, ugh). I also made a soap for a friend who ordered some things from

me, and I'll be shipping her package out today. I am working on a

purple-themed basket for a friend's birthday this month, too ~ it's just a

small basket, but it's pretty. I found it at s yesterday ~ originally

$3.99 and 50 percent off! Can't beat that. Anyway, that's pretty much what

I've been working on, although today I would like to try to create some

lotion from scratch. I have all of the supplies, and I think it would be

really cool to do that. I want to make a hazelnut lotion for my mom for

Mother's Day, because she just attended a basketweaving convention in

Indianapolis, IN and her hands are all swollen and chapped from weaving.

hehe :-) I think she could really use some good lotion!

So that's about it from here ... my husband has been in Indianapolis all

weekend at the big Star Wars convention there ... he gets back to Albany

today at 5, and I can't wait. :-)
