Guest guest
Hi The kids had their annual Christmas music party at their music teacher's house yesterday. , who learned to play 24 Christmas songs on the piano this month (not all perfect by no means) played We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Then, he and I sang Silent Night in Spanish while Mrs. Mason played the piano. I do not sing well but it was fun. Kristi played and sang Jingle Bells with the help of her teacher. played Frere Jacque, which is not a Christmas song. I forgot to ask why. But he did a good job. There were delicious cookies shaped like Christmas trees and homemade cupcakes for refreshment. The kids were pretty proud of their accomplishments. There were about a dozen other kids there with no disabilities and many of them were playing at the same level or lower level than our kids so I am happy to say that music lessons are paying off for our three after a year and a half. Dad to , Kristi, (all three Down syndrome) and (Cri du chat) Husband to C. in Mo. where we will not have a White Christmas--we had our big snows two weeks ago and they are all gone
