Just to reinforce that thought, a look at the top anti-inflammatory foods, shows a lot of things we commonly eat. From Duke's (now getting old) database.

Oregano is tops with 32 chemicals, Carrot with 27.

Thyme, Fennel, Rosemary,Thyme, Black Currant, Grapefruit, Tea, Tomato, Licorice, Onion, Paprika (sweet red pepper), Cilantro fruit (coriander), Soybean, Chili pepper, Grape, Tarragon, Avocado, Macadamia, Pistachio, Walnut, Cucumber, Peanut, Sunflower Seed, Cashew.

Chemicals, not found in MV. Much attention has been paid to antioxidants, little to anti-inflammatories.

There's also questions ofbioavailability and bioutilization with syntheticnutrients.Personally, I don't believe relying on syntheticnutrients as opposed to food nutrients is warranted byscientific or empirical evidence. If you mustsupplement to make up defenciences, then stronglyconsider a food-based supplement such as TwinLab'snew, low-cost Ultra Harvest line or Garden of Life'sLiving line.Logan
