Guest guest
Dear , Funny you mention this anti-D medication & its relation to the seretonin level, as I was taken off my regular medication (which caused fatigue) and put on Zoloft today. I hope it does control some of the pain I'm experiencing recently as it is unbearable. Thanks for the info. I sure hope stinky gets better. Take care of you too!! Hang in there! Barb: ) Re: Re: Finally Diagnosed- I know alot of us fight using an anti-depressant but you ought to consider it. One of the side effects of anti-D is that they help with pain. The seretonin level affects our pain level. There is nothing wrong with taking an anti-D as long as they don't dx you as just depressed. Stinky's asthma has been acting up real bad. She has kept me up for two nights now. We're changing cat litters again, apparently my interpretation of dust free and thiers isn't the same. ** , Stinky's caretaker** Our purpose in life is to have a life of purpose. Guest guest
Thank You #4!!!!!! I needed that note of encouragement as I am starting Zoloft today for my seretonin level which they say will help with my back pain. I was nervous, but now I am looking forward to see if it does help me mentally & physically. Thanks for the info!! I hope you are doing well!! Let me know! Hang in there!! Barb : ) Re: Re: Finally Diagnosed- I for one have fought taking antidepressants for years, because of the constant hormone problems " the " tumor in my brain and hypothyroid have caused me. I was afraid of them and one that I did take, did interfere with my endocrine labs. That went on for almost ten years. When we almost lost my brother last spring I was not sleeping..I was up, sometimes 36 hours straight. I went to see my doctor, we decided that I should take something to help deal with the pain inside so, I started taking zoloft. Then I went back because I was not sleeping well, he then prescribed Trazadone to help me sleep. I will NEVER go off these medications as I haven't felt this good in years. I encourage you all, to not fight taking them. Antidepressants are prescribed for numerous reasons and one should try them, because you just might " feel " better both mentally and physically. Love all of you! #4 The Being Sick Community Visual problems with colors? Click the link below and select the modify link to your right. Then select the **Send Plain Text Email** option.
