Hello,how are yaall doing?

I havnt posted for a bit but I have a question. If I am out of line, just

tell me to go jump in a lake, but anyawys I made some body yogurt type

lotion with aloe butter, emu and coconut oil. I did a batch cuz a freind

had asked me to and I sold her a 4 oz jar. Well she bought it but she kinda

freaked at the price I put on it. $8.00. I hadnt figured my cost yet and

wanted to be sure I didnt undercut myself and since It had Emu oil in it,

well..... Well what I am wondering is... what do you all charge for your

body yogurt? I dont have much to compare this product to price wise. I

told her when I figure my cost I will refund the difference. Kinda

irritates me actually she has a problem with it cuz her products (candles

and potpouri and other primitive type stuf) are priced on the high end and

she expects and gets lots of sales. BUT Whatever. Thanks for any

responces!!!

Kim, basically its a creme made with polymers. Takes on sort of a gel like

consistency. It dosnt contain yogurt at all. I called mine a Creme Gel cuz

I have never heard of the body yogurt.

Price.... hummm I think you can ask any price you want ... go a little high

.... New things are always priced higher. Maybe some kind of gold sticker or

band on the jar.. would help.

You can all ways come down on your price later but you can not come up as

easy ....

Oh im sure it would still ahve been a good lotion with other oils. I had

made a batch of this and gave her some to test out for me. Well she loved

it so much so I was trying to duplicate what I did before. One thise days I

want to make something extra extra special. THAT was the reason I used Emu

in the first place.

I don't know Shaye . When it was called Body Yogurt I wanted to try it...

the name Cream Gel does not make me want it as bad...

Now we all know I am kinda crazy .... LOL ....so lets see what some of

Shaye....I sell my 4 0z cream for 7.75 and I do not have any trouble getting

it....I don't think you were unreasonable....If they want cheap junk

ingredients...send them to wal-mart........Debbie Z. in Pa.

Oh thanks DEb! I has soo hoping someone would answer . In my heart I keep

saying this is the right price. The oils I put in were very high quality ya

know. She says she can go to JC pennys and get 16 oz Arden

Nurturing Dew for $13.99. Well, I guess then she can go to JC Pennys and

get that. THEN when I sent her a link on emu oil and benifits and stuf she

thought I was being Huffy. WHATEVER. THEN she tried to challenge me on the

ingredients. She saw the preservatives listed as FDA requires and was like

so where do you get these? Do you find them locally? Like she was implying

I did not make this lotion at all but repackaged someone elses. I just told

her That They are what makes up the preservative I buy called Germall?? and

FDA requires the ingredients be listed seperatly in order and I did not buy

it locally. Ok maybe I need to go take a brisk walk and blow off steam.

Then she stated she would NOT be buying it from me wholesale to put in her

other places she sells. Whatever, I never asked her to in the first place.

This too will blooow over.

I make a body yogurt also.....and someone has asked me to make a base for

her..to re bottle.......emu is sooooooooooo expenisive.i wouldn't cut

yourself short.

Or you can make a cheaper product....and give her the choice which is wants

to carry....
