Guest guest
Hi folks: Here is a quite interesting example, from the BBC's website today, of data suggesting one way study results sometimes may be misleading. In this particular case these data may, perhaps, show why it is that wine consumption appears to be healthier than beer consumption. It may be that it is the behaviours that tend to be associated with wine consumption that are healthier than those that tend to be associated with with beer consumption, rather than the wine itself that is healthier. And the same phenomenon may be occurring in other studies showing benefit for various substances - if consumption of those substances happens to be associated with other healthy behaviours. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/4629560.stm Rodney. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/4629560.stm
