Guest guest
Hi! I think it just helps me to be organized since I workout first thing in the morning and don't want to waste time deciding what to do. I think there are definatley good and bad things to setting out a schedule - the good parts are you save time in picking out your workouts and I " ve found that by sticking with a certain instructor or type of workout or " set " of videos I can learnt he workout better and see what works best for me (honestly, I think the best results I get are from kickboxing for cardio and Pilates/Yoga/Ballet style toning, but I also like to mix it up, so even though those are the best results wise I still will do other things b/c I want to - and who knows, maybe if I just did those activities exclusively they would stop working so well for me...) The down side to having a set plan is sometimes I don't listen to what my body needs and I let my mind override the body - in other words, I'll do the workout even if my body wants something else. I'm trying to be better about that -- being sick for those 2 weeks really made me think hard about listening to the signals my body sends. Still...I need to not be so anal sometimes! LOL! Tomorrow will either be Charlene or Tae Bo, I know that much...which I decide on will be a surprise in the morning!
