Guest guest
Hello group, I had my Icd replaced on Monday. Procedure went well. However, I was sooo nervous. Especially when they told me I wouldn't be completely out. It turned out that I didn't feel anything. I guess they give you meds that make it so you can't remember. This was my second ICD. My first one was when they found out I had V-tach back in 2001. Batteries only last about 5 years. So I'm good until 2011. They did not replace my leads. I ended up with another Guidant. For now I have pain and discomfort. I'm sure I'll be better in a few days. So I sit here with my arm in a sling typing away. Hope all is well with you. Vee New Messenger with Voice.
