Hi !

If you are at ALL interested in becoming an aerobics instructor, you MUST do it! It's the most rewarding thing I've ever done!

Most gyms in America require a primary (general) certification. In America the 2 most common are ACE and AFAA. This certifies that you know basic exercise priniciples, safety, and technique. Most gyms want you to have this prior to teaching at their facilities for liability reasons.

Next you get your secondary certifications. Mine happens to be in Turbo Kick, because that is what I am passionate about. I hold several other 24 Hour Fitness gym brand certifications, but of those I only teach Aerobics 101.

I am not as knowledgeable about personal training certs.

Hope this helps a little!
