Guest guest
Hi Christian: The trouble with popcorn is that it is so expensive ............... after you have factored in the dental expenses incurred for broken fillings etc. that result from biting down on the occasional incompletely expanded seed. It is for that reason that I never eat popcorn. But if yer don't have any teeth then that would be a different matter altogether. Rodney. > > How does popcorn rate in a CR diet? I don't know about all those microwave popcorns but hot air popped without spray on trans fats or excessive salt shouldn't harm you in moderation. I used to consume quite a bit of air popped which is IMO healthier than most ad lib snacks but still relatively low in nutrition per kcal. I also found just eating one modest serving rather difficult (for me), so I cut it out a few years ago. I still have some un-popped in the cupboard but there it shall remain.
