Hi everybody,

I spoke to Dave on phone this AM for about 2 hours--he was groggy and on pain pills and resting ----his wife was sleeping --they both have had a rough week with anxiety and lack of sleep.

Dave feels very connected to all of you and again asked me to write.

It is unclear and complex what exactly is going on however. He did only have 2 spots and the #32 was tossed around by young inexperienced MD's that do not have any idea about what is happening. Such is a teaching hospital and one needs to wait for the attending to get the real scoop. They attempted something 32 times around the scar tissue----it is a mystery at this point to me. Dave is doing OK, and he is looking forward to writing to you to tell his latest adventure in the medical world.

Again he will be in touch as soon as he can--he has his lap top with him and a wireless connection at NEMC.
