Guest guest
Thurs he spent the day relaxing. Looking really good. Fri we did a Aids to Navigation patrol. Leave it to we end up in a safety zome with a 50mm pointed at us. We made it though the day and enjoyed the excitement. Sat we did 4 hours on the water for Harbormaster. Why do we always end up with me getting soaked with water? He had a dry uneventful 4 hours. I had salty wet jeans. Both went home and spent 12 hours in bed. He is nice and tan, I on the other hand look like a red raccoon! I refuse to do any thing for the next week!!!!! He has several doc appointments coming up. He is getting that tired look tonight. Hope we do not go through this every couple of weeks. The doc have cometo the conclusion that something is wrong, just have to figure out what. Gail Gail & Gail, So sorry to hear that has been having trouble again. How is he doing now? I too carry a list of meds with me to both my Dr's appts and the hospital. I am on 15 different meds at this time. In my experiences, first the EMT's ask for my list at home, then when we get to the hospital the nurses ask for them in emergency and then the admitting nurses ask too when we go upstairs. Seems like none of them can seem to copy what the others have already charted. HELLO, if we are having heart troubles etc how can we really remember and voice not only the meds names but the dosages etc. I think this way is safer and more efficient for all. Glad they helped him celebrate his birthday and I know that this is late but wish him well for me. Once again was in the hospital. The ER doc was great, but then he has dealt with several times. When the ER doc comes in and says "you look like hell" you know that you are staying. But anyway, when went up to the floor the "nurse" had a lot of questions for him. Such as "what do you take for meds." Having been through this several time I always have a print out in hand when he goes to the hospital. The "nurse" said he should know what he takes and when he takes and the mg. Well told her he has flat lined a couple times, and been through so many surgerys that he was half brain dead. This "nurse" was so intimidated that when I went in to see him Tues he was still carring on, but he did not say anything to the day nurses. Well off goes Mouth! The poor day shift could not appoligize enough for what this "nurse" had done.Any way, the day nurse said that had a lot of activity during the night on the monitor. When the Guidant Rep came in she stated that the unit was fine and did not record any activity. Then just what the Hello has been happening? She stopped talking to me at that stage. When I got home I made a call and asked if anyone was giving rewards for Guidant Reps dead or alive (Duff you should get a chuckle over that one). came home tonight with orders to see his cardio and primary Monday. He also needs to have several blood test done next week. Bottom line - something is wrong, but they have no idea where to go next. I think some person that did a read out should answer some questions, I have no faith in reps of any kind right now.But all in all was spoiled rotten, especially when they found out it was his birthday, cake and all...BestGail M in CA Please visit the Zapper homepage athttp://www.ZapLife.org
