Some people think it may be a calorie restriction mimetic (mimics the gene

expression of calorie restriction) or a STAC (Sirtuin activating compound -

Sirtuins are a family of genes involved in calorie restriction).

It's virtually free of any serious side effects (lactic acidosis fears

recently debunked).

It's cheap and available.

Why not?
