I thought you guys might be interested in this because it mentions using a Vitamix (and many of us know that nutrients directly from food sources are better than nutrients that are "synthesized") This will be especially easy for those of us who have dehydrators, but a dehydrator is not required...http://mizar5.com/Make_Your_Own_Vitamin_C.htmlVitamin-COur research found that most Vitamin C is coming from genetically engineered corn! Even the “Health Food” Vitamin C.So, with this information you have a choice!Genetically engineered corn Vitamin C[1]orOrganic Vitamin C-complex, rutin, hesperidin, bioflavonoids, monoterpene and limonene essential oils![2]Organic citrus fruits have rutin, hesperidin, bioflavonoids, monoterpenes and limonene essential oils in their pulp and peel. Cut the peels into thin strips; lay out on cheesecloth with none of the peels touching each other. In a couple of days you have your own natural vitamin C. Dehydrators work well and cut the drying time down. Putting the dried peels into a coffee grinder or Vita Mix will make a powder that can easily be added to drinks or food. Be sure to store in an airtight container. Taking one teaspoon of this powder will supply you with more Vitamin C than your body needs for the day. Organic grapefruit, tangerines, oranges, lemons and limes can all be used.
