Relax and Renew: Rising Early

You may have read the title of today's email and thought, what on earth do they mean? How can rising early be relaxing? That sounds terrible! But the first hours of the morning are often our most creative, spiritual, and peaceful. Sadly, we rarely get to experience these moments, as many of us tend to spend them rushing around and frantically getting ready for the day. So this week, why not try something new? Instead of getting up in a panic at the last minute, set your alarm for fifteen to thirty minutes earlier than you'd normally rise. Get up and spend those minutes with yourself. Not with your family or pets. Not doing chores. Just simply being. The sense of relaxation you create will permeate your whole day.
