Guest guest
Hi folks: While 'stress' might logically be expected to reduce the incidence of breast cancer, it has been shown to increase blood cholesterol levels. The study I have in mind was done with US Navy deep sea diving trainees. At various times in their training they knew they were coming up to an especially hazardous (possibly life-threatening) exercise, or other stress-inducing activities like taking important qualifying exams. In each case their blood cholesterol levels rose in the days running up to the stressful event.
