Guest guest
After I bought an ounce I went on youtube and watched a few videos. I envisioned it more like a tea that I brewed in an infuser. I don't think I will go out and buy a gourd but you never know. Thanks. > > You can find out all about Yerba Mate at www.guayaki.com That's where I buy > mine. Guest guest
Really cool site, Peggy! Other Enthusiasts should be aware that it was Peggy who got me into both sprouting and brewing my own kombucha; I'm pretty sure that she's owned a Vitamix longer than any of our other members. re. Guest guest
Peggy, have you tried any other brands? It seems that there are a gazillion varieties out there (who knew?). I entered a search for Guayakà at Chowhound and it led me all over the place after doing searches on the brands mentioned: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/433511?tag=search_results;results_list . Clearly, I need to head out to Heights to check out the Argentinian grocery that's mentioned. And interestingly, at least something of GuayakÃ's is sold at Fairway. re.
