Hi laura,

I think part of it may be that I do yoga after I've done another workout so

I'm already awake and conscious of time and all that I need to do before I

get ready for work (I exercise in the mornings..) I find that when I do just

yoga the mind wandering thing isn't so bad. I would love to do my yoga in

the evenings, but I don't think I'd be disciplined enough to do it

consistently. And, my mother-in-law is coming to stay with us for about a

month to 6 weeks starting the last week in January (yikes! I like her, but

any houseguest for that long is too long!) so I know I will not be able to

get into the habit of doing it just now. I guess in some ways it is sort of

exercise in itself for me to learn how to " quiet my mind " . Maybe on the

weekends or the days I telecommute I can do my yoga in the afternoons.

I'm also finding that I seem to focus in better when I do a CD practice. I

think b/c I have to really concentrate on the directions and instruction

since I can't look up to " see " anything. I might try one of my DVDs or

videos w/ the doors on my entertainment center closed.

I think I am also going to work on getting some stuff ready for work the

night before so I don't ahve this massive to-do list in front of me. I'm

really terrible with getting out of the house on time, I always have been.

I'm just lucky I have a job where it is pretty relaxed as to my comings and

goings.

Take care!!!
