Guest guest
Donna, I forgot about that. Oh the joys of breast feeding! Sorry to be nudgy it's just I am always concerned with doctor-patient things ( I used to work for one and he made all kinds of mistakes!) Kathy -------------- Original message -------------- Hi Kathy,I'm going to check in w/ my doctor -- the thing that makes me feel less worried are the words "BENIGN" and "NOT CANCER" written in capital letters, LOL! But I do worry about mistakes, everyone makes them, even doctors! I'm betting that my resutls were strange b/c of all the scar tissue I have from my horrible case of mastitis and the surgery I had as a result of that from that last year (they took biopsies last year from the infection site which were all clean...)UGH!Donna>>Donna, since they want you to come back in 6 months rather than a year or >two, I would really want to know what it is that they found. I missed your >email on the questionable mammogram but this one got my attention. A lot >of women get fibroid tumors which are annoying, but usually harmless - >others get cysts, etc.>>Kathy>>-------------- Original message -------------->Thanks, a!! I'm going to check in w/ my doctor to see if it is>something to be concerned about or not. S ince they're telling me to wait 6>months for a follow-up I'm assuming it really is nothing. But still, I get>worried that doctor's make mistakes all the time..... UGH!>>Sorry to hear about your fall - hope you're feeling better now!>>Where did you get Tae Bo Extreme??!!!>>Donna> >> >Donna,> >Sorry about the not so positive Mammogram. Its probably nothing. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, Just got off the phone w/ my doctor's office and the medical assistant reassured me. He said that I just have different density tissues and that since it was my first mammo that they want to just establish a record of what 'healthy' looks like. He told me about 50% of first timers are called back. So that is somewhat comforting -- though I would be happier just not having to deal with it or think about it again! I worry about doctors making mistakes, too. They are HUMAN afterall (even though some don't regard themselves that way) - and it is very easy to fall through the cracks. On the upside my bloodwork was all good - my total cholesterol is 149 - I guess working out does something good for me! Take care, Donna > >Donna, I forgot about that. Oh the joys of breast feeding!
