Guest guest
My goodness Stacie... Out of all the ZapFolks here and over at ZapLife.org... I don't think anyone has had a rougher row to hoe over the years. It's just not fair. Not just for your personally, but the added burden of the " challenges " you carry for your mum and dad. On a positive note.. I remember when you used to sign your postings: " stacie,17 " (or was it 16?) And now it's " stacie,21 shocking life for shocking people ! " If not for those shocks, there would never have been postings from even " stacie,18 " Right? There was a time when we both thought it would not happen. And here you are now. And there you were now... having an electrical storm and expressing your concern over Rascal and everyone else. Please don't worry.. he's home now and feeling a little rugged but much better. He's eating like a horse again (even the new stuff to prevent the problem from returning).. and using the " puppy pad " like a gushing pump. His sister is hissing at him.. apparently angry that he stayed " out " for three nights and never called. " hehehe That's her way of dealing with worry over missing him, I guess. Now... your frequent zaps. Are your docs trying any new combo of anti-arrhythmics? (Not to be confused with the Eurythmics rock group and their lead singer: " Walking on Broken Glass " lady Annie Lennox.) Did you ever get in touch with York.. my friend there in Indianapolis/Bloomington? She's got an ICD and counsels heart patients all the time. You really need an ombudsperson to fight with the medicoes for you, if they are not working to stop the insanity. No where in your posts do I read that they are working to solve this problem... and if my assumption is correct - THEY MUST CHANGE AND DO SO! I can't recall... Do you go to the IU Med Center or Saint V? I was appalled that people laughed at you when you got your zaps. Any medical facility that permits this kind of humiliation is in dire need of sensitivity training to prompt staff to intervene during such incidents. They must be made to be aware: If not for the grace of god and 300 heart beats... they too could be knocked to the floor with a 700 volt reality check! Chin up.. breathe deep.. think calming thoughts... Duffey
