Guest guest
Thanks, Lea Ann! One thing I can recommend w/o hesitation is the Rapunzel bouillon. I use about half a cube in a green smoothie (maybe 3-4 cups). No MSG, which is a great thing! The Vita-Recipes site has the other info about Rapunzel. (Didn't you love that story?) I bought my last supply at a local health food store when it was on sale, and previously from Amazon. I'll have to compare the price now that I know about the 20% promo code!Peggy
Guest guest
I ONLY use Rapunzel at shows (I get it at my local health food store). I use it in all of my savory smoothies and soups. I too love it. I'd never seen the story on the Vita-Recipes website and I didn't know they sold it. It is just the only MSG free bullion I could find! :-) Now I'm off to try to find that story! Guest guest
I hate to be the bearer of bad news-but Rapunzel DOES contain MSG. It is one of the brands I gave up years ago due to continuing issues, and deceptive marketing. Notice they use the terms "no ADDED MSG", and "No salt ADDED"-this does NOT mean they do not contain those ingredients. It just means they don't add more in a form not already listed. The main ingredient in Rapunzel boullion is yeast extract....yeast extract IS MSG. As for the "no salt added" there is salt in many of the listed ingredients...they just don't add any extra. I find this type of marketing deceptive, and will not support the brand. It is not only deceptive, but for those of us with severe allergies, this can be deadly. Just thought you should know.
