Guest guest
Just got the book, Green Smoothie Revolution and have been reading, but one paragraph disturbed me....pg. 48 " Do not add starchy vegetables such as carrots, beets, broccoli stems, zucchini, cauliflower, cabbage, brussels sprouts, eggplant, pumpkin, squash, okra, peas, corn, and green beans to your green smoothies. Starch vegetables combine poorly with fruit and may prduce what my children call " gas-4-less. " " I have loved adding carrots to my smoothies, any opinions?
