Guest guest
I came across a website sponsored by the American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR): http://www.infoaging.org/index.html The website includes interviews with Dr. Fontana, and other experts. Apparently, AFAR also sponsors research: " The American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR) Since 1981, AFAR has provided grant, scholarship and fellowship support worth $37 million to 1,400 talented researchers, helping them begin and further their careers in aging research and geriatric medicine. Today, more than 80% of the researchers who have received AFAR grants are still in the field. AFAR is also committed to the dissemination of scientific knowledge about aging, both within the scientific community and to the public. To reach scientists and researchers, AFAR sponsors conferences and a lecture series on advances in aging research. AFAR has reached the public through such means as media briefings, newsletters, and its own institutional website at www.afar.org. Now, in an effort to help the public become more aware of - and easily access information about - aging issues, AFAR has launched Infoaging.org. " It is light reading, but informative.
