I haven't been very good with my eating habits for the last two weeks or so -- and yesterday wasn't great either - but today is a new day and it is time to clean up my act! I'm sure you'll reach your goal soon! As for the booze - do you drink beer, wine or hard stuff? I know that the South Beach plan that my DH is following doesn't like beer much b/c of the high sugar content, but the author is okay w/ wine, especially red wine, and especially when accompanied by food (proteins and fats to counteract the carbos). Also, are you a vegetarian? I'm a sort of wanna be veg - I try to eat that way for the most part but I still do eat meat, mostly b/c DH does and he does quite a bit of the cooking!
