Guest guest
Hi , I found Ana Caban's Pilates workouts to be very good w/ form pointers and instructions on when and how to breath. She has a beginner workout and an intermediate as well as some others. Check out www.gaiam.com -- I really " got " the breathing from her. As bad as it is for our credit cards, it does seem that it helps to try a variety of instructors b/c as Carolyn pointed out - each uses different visualizations and sometimes just hearing it differently makes it " click " . If your library has Pilates workouts I'd suggest trying to check some out and trying out different instructors to see what cues " click " with you. Also, a book might help and maybe you could join NetFlix or something so that you could rent some so you can try out different instructors without having to buy. I do admit that I didn't think Kathy did such a great job of cueing on the Project:You pilates. I preferred her cueing on ther Pilates for Abs and Pilates for Lower Body workouts. Hope this helps!!
