Hi!

I'm new to the group & don't know much about my new Vitamix - but I know skin care.I would use aloe vera gel - either from a plant if you have one, or you can purchase it inexpensively.  Most chain drug stores have a clear inexpensive Vitamin E gel that has an aloe gel base with Vitamin E.  Almost all stores have plain aloe vera gel.  Also zinc is one of the most soothing things for skin - it is present in most diaper ointments.  You can use aloe gel, let it dry & then apply diaper ointment to calm you skin down - after one use, you should be able to keep it under control with the aloe.

Make sure if you take it that it's not in conjunction with topical Benedryl--it's contraindicated (neither one helped my Summer '09 itch attack but I learned you don't want to use them simultaneously).
