This morning's smoothie

I have to share this morning's smoothie because I feel that I have come such a

long way. It was absolutely delicious. I put it into a 24oz. Tervis tumbler for

breakfast and save the rest in a 32oz. leftover container. I was a newbie in

November having just gotten my Vitamix from QVC. Thank you everyone for all of

your advice. I no longer use exact measurements but eyeball things. I didn't

put in the oatmeal packet yet, but that will come.

One orange, peeled and pitted

one half can pineapple chunks with half the juice

Vanilla yogurt

Cinnamon and nutmeg

One half cucumber, washed with skin

Celery stalk

One parsnip cut up a bit (scrubbed but not peeled--cut off just the tips)

Handful of orange mint

5 or six frozen cranberries

1 frozen banana

Handful frozen blueberries.

Some might think that it is too many ingredients, but I loved it. For all the

newbies, read all the recipes out there and then just experiment to your taste.

In my first smoothie, a whole banana and a whole carrot seemed too much, but

your taste adjusts. I also have learned so much from this group. Ordered Blend

it up spice and getting ready to order the glass straws. You all have so much

knowledge and I have so much to learn. Thank you everyone.
