I haven't tried potatoes but for the first time yesterday, I chopped cabbage for

a coleslaw (wet chopping method). Holy cow, I only pulsed it twice and it was

chopped more than I had planned. One pulse would have done it. I'm not sure what

it would do with potato! Let us know if you try it!

I thought about using the wet chopping method but a potato is so different from

cabbage. Thanks for the advice, will give it a try.

Will let you know when I attempt it.

I successfully got the exact consistency I wanted by using a small amt of

potatoes at a time and then putting them through a second time. You have to be

careful when the potato gets under the blade. But mine were a huge success.

If you have any additional questions about my method feel to ask me. It was my

first time doing potatoes and I was most pleased with the result but there was a

definite method.

Lee Ann-- Thanks for this info regarding wet chopping on low/variable. I

actually contemplated doing that but went for the high speed as the book said,

instead. I'll try your method because I like coleslaw that is thicker, too. :-)
