Hi Marcelle,

Mayonnaise was a very popular hair conditioner in the 60's and 70's. Maybe

you could try that. It should have egg in it, and therefore, protein.

take care,

I might also suggest egg, particularly the yolk.

I can't resist to jump in here.... When I was 12 or 13 I read somewhere

that egg yolk makes your hair wonderful shiny so I put the yolk on my

hair, waited for awhile and rinsed it. Unfortunately nobody told me to

use cold water.....

It took a lot of water, tears and patience of my mother to remove the

mess from my head... Never did it again :-)

Beer or virgin olive oil..

super for hair :)

Citric Acid:

This is taken from my website:

CITRIC ACID

Fine, cosmetic and food grade. Citric Acid acts as a preservative, a

sequestering agent - preventing change in colour, flavor, texture or

appearance - and is also used to adjust pH.

Hi,....

Just to let all sellers know, Paypal isnt free for the sellers.

Read the FINE FINE print..there is a charge..a pretty hefty one at that for

all sellers.

The service is free to buyers though.

Go to your bank and get merchant numbers, this will save you tons :)

Im not a newbie to soap making...but am to lotions.

Can anyone tell me some of the ingredients id need to make my own natural

lotions?

Thanks.

I was thinking apple cider vinegar diluted with water and a few drops of

rosemary e.o. works for me! It's not so much a " conditioner " as just good

for healthy hair. And making sure you're getting enough EFA(essential fatty

acids)'s!

Franziska,

Oh, thanks so much for that warning! I didn't think about rinsing it out and

would have felt terrible if that had happened to someone else.
