I live with my teen daughter, and due to food allergies, I often make separate soups, smoothies and sauces in the Vitamix. I think you learn to "eyeball" it over time, knowing about how high to fill the container with ingredients to give you the end result you want. If you need more detailed recipes, perhaps just cut standard recipe ingredients by half or quarters to give you the desired amount. Is there anyone on this site that lives alone and uses the Vitamix blender? If so, what is the best way to judge the amount of fruits and/or veggies to blend up for one person?

Thanks,

Lynn

I've lived alone for years (with an occasional boyfriend or temporary roommate here and there) and have had Vita-Mixes for all that time. I'm with on this one--eyeballing and adjusting recipe amounts will do it.
