Guest guest
Ginger is an aromatic, and therefor, VERY potent. I would start with a very thin slice, about the size of a dime, and cut THAT in half, then tweak it from there. If you like the spiciness, ginger is very beneficial for many things, so working up to a stronger bit of it would be great, but it is an acquired taste. > > I decided to put a small (what I thought was small) piece of ginger in my breakfast fruit smoothie. While good, think I have to put in a smaller piece. Learning amounts is a bit tricky. This smoothie had one whole orange (picked from my tree), 1 half frozen banana, red grapes, pomegranate seeds, watermelon and yogurt + ginger. So my question is, how do I measure fresh ginger? I haven't lost any weight, but definitely feel increased energy. >
