Hi Carolyn!!

I'm sorry to hear that DH is acting badly....it is rough when things aren't

going smoothly. DH and I had a pretty rough year, I'm sure most of it was

related to the birth of DD and all the added new responsibilities (most of

which fell on me!! GRR...) Things seem to be more smooth now, and I'm

pretty sure that it is because she is getting older and some of the

stressors are gone (and he is interacting more and in a better way with

her....) I hope that you guys get through this rough patch quickly - it is

so emotionally draining.....so I can understand the urge to pig out and veg

out and not workout. But hang in there --- keep up the good work you've

done...get back on the " wagon " and move on as best you can. Maybe it is

just somjething that is bugging him and he needs to work through it.

Either way -- here are some ((((((HUGS)))))))

thankyou donna! i dread the thought of him coming in this evening and us

doing the fight thing all over again.... i so hope that he has gotten his

thoughts/feelings together by then.

while he is off doing that, im left to attend a parent-teacher interview

with our sons, take them to a book sale, then a bake sale at school and set

up all of the xmas decorations. i spent 3 hours yesterday doing the

outside lights... by myself! he never helps me ::sigh:: i know what you

mean about all of the added responsibility falling on you with your

DD. all my husband has to do is go to work and i take care of everything

else. and today he isnt even working... supposedly he has gone to a trade

show in toronto (a couple of hours away). ::sigh again:: oh well, thanks

for letting me vent. i am going to be working out shortly!! hopefully

that will help me to clear my head and to get some of my frustrations

out. thanks for being here and for being such a good friend. :)

Carloyn - I wish I could give him a swift kick in the pants for you! Some men just aren't good at expressing themselves when they are frustrated, scared or worried...they just vent when they can't take it anymore - and unfortunately those closest to them are a "safe" target. I've been there, but DH has seen the light and now always gets it off his chest quickly (which can be a pain too - suck it up is just not in his vocabulary!) Enjoy that workout and get rid of that stress - a big glass of wine with dinner wouldn't be a bad idea either!
