HI :)

Our neighbor boys came over to swim today, the oldest asked me if Sara skinny

dipped in the pool last evening, he said his younger brother told him she

did. I told him that I don't think so since I found a wet suit on the bathroom

floor. I asked Sara later and she told me there was a bug in her suit so right

before she came in from swimming she took her suit off ........... ooooh my I

guess our privacy fence is not doing its job lol I imagine the little boy was

hanging on the fence waiting on an invite to swim.

Sara and I will discuss " privacy " issues again tonight. She's awesome at

saying " PRIVACY " when someone walks in on her changing.

Kathy mom to Sara 11 ........... I did warn the boys next door that Sara has

no problems being naked ... ANYWHERE and if she starts to strip please turn

their heads and yell privacy

Jill,

It's gotten better recently. I remember a professional telling me he couldn't

undress himself yet. I smiled smugly and thought oh you'll see. At first

he'd just strip. Then he started putting on other outfits. Now he usually

keeps what I put on him, unless he sees a striped shirt. He's crazy about

stripes.

I got him new sneakers over the weekend and got velcro closures. I thought,

oh these will never stay on, but they have.

I can relate to this..... Jordan LOVES to be naked and has no problem with

stripping down after school. LOL. But... just like me she can't stand to have

shoes or socks on either. I don't wear shoes in my house and most of my socks

have holes in the bottoms because I don't wear shoes outside either :-)

Yes, Lucas does this as soon as we get home! Strips down to his pull up!

Does not strip so to speak else where, just at home. Like he knows it is his

territory!

Blake hates shoes and socks to the point that I usually avoid putting them

on. If I put them on he just takes them off again. Sometimes he throws

them in the trash! Anyway, the OT has been trying to get him to wear shoes.

She is also working on ME by trying to motivate me to put them on him.

She is a great sport about it. She jokes about writing it in to his IEP! LOL

And Judi I yell at my kids for going outside in their socks. :)

Hi Sharon :)

Sara will change often too, she has labeled her clothes as play clothes,

party dresses, church dresses, pool shorts. She has done the same thing with her

hair accessories lol Sometimes she will make a wrong choice and I have to tell

her to go back and change ........ and as far as her dresses she will pull

them all out ugggggg Im the one who has to rehang them back up lol

HI :)

You know I was a little worried when I heard a family with 3 boys bought the

house next door. See we had a young couple with young kids there before but we

never saw them. Heehee not that invisible neighbors are the best but they

were nice and minded their own business. Now this new family has 3 boys and let

me say the most well behaved boys I have ever been around. Their father is a

retired minister and their Mom was raised by a military father. They were told

to never ask me to swim and one day all 3 boys were hanging on my fence

watching me wash the patio off. We made small talk and I asked what they were

doing

today, they answered " Oh nothing mam " I then asked them if they were going to

go swimming, and they replied " we are not allowed to ask " they were so sincere

and seeing only their heads and hands hanging dearly onto the fence I

immediately stopped what I was doing and went to talk to their Mom. I literally

begged

her to let her boys ask me when they want to swim, that sometimes I may not

know when they are home and I want them to enjoy their summer. I also told her

Sara loves having friends over and they would be and could be a big help to

me. She was so happy and now the boys will holler over the fence and ask if they

can swim too if we are in the pool. I think their Mom has told them that if I

have company not to ask so its a good situation. Sara now has 3 more friends

and Im loving all the kids around :)

Kathy mom to Sara 11 .............. we have the 2 story house :) all around

us have 1 story

Hi Kathy,

Your post hit home with me. We are moving into a neighborhood where we don't

know anyone. We are leaving one where we know everyone, have nice neighbors, no

bullies, etc. I'm a little nervous about it with . We won't really be

able to get to know anyone until we move in July.
