Guest guest
Gail, I have problems with my bp alot...it tends to run low anyway, but not too long ago it would dip below 70/40 and I would pass out. On one day I was alone, slicing up an apple with a knife when I went down (fainted) and nearly stabbed myself. Pretty frightening! Usually this occurs when I would take extra lasix, for the CHF. Its frustrating because my Docs want my heart to beat effortlessly and they are comfortable with it being on the low side. Yet, if it gets too low, quality of life suffers. Does stuggle to function when its that low? I am exhausted, have no energy to speak at times. Although my munchkins seem to enjoy the peace and quiet (Mom can't nag during these times). Let me know how it goes, please tell him my thoughts are with him! Always, "Words are the voice of the heart" Confuscious Always, "Words are the voice of the heart" Confuscious
Guest guest
Does stuggle to function when its that low? gets light headed. The nurse told him to lay down with his feet. He feels like he is goiing to pass out. This is what got us to have the nurse to begin with. I took to the hospital about 6 or 8 weeks ago. Dr blew me off. So 's promary got the nurse to monitor. Just a wait and see what his next trick is gonna be. Trying to keep up his spirits because we also lost a very close friend over the weekend. Guest guest
Hi, Gail. My weight goes up 3-5 pounds overnight if I drink too much liquid the day before or have salty food. Lasix usually brings it back down. It also seems to relate to my bp. When I am fluid overloaded, my bp is higher. --Mike On Jun 15, 2004, at 12:01 PM, Gail Forbes wrote: > We have been trying to figure out what is " normal " for 's BP. Guest guest
Oh, , your knife incident made me cringe. I've never done that and never hope to. I generally have syncopal episodes when I'm outside walking around. I feel it coming as everything starts to get dark and I grab onto something or sit down until it passes. LIke you, my energy level is low but the heart is not overworking so I don't mind. I generally can't go through the day without a nap, though. --Mike On Jun 15, 2004, at 12:34 PM, simplyshawn@... wrote: > Gail, I have problems with my bp alot...it tends to run low anyway, > but not too long ago it would dip below 70/40 and I would pass out. > On one day I was alone, slicing up an apple with a knife when I went > down (fainted) and nearly stabbed myself. Guest guest
All: I'm not sure I understand all this fuss about bee pee. I mean how much can they urinate anyway? Even with Lasix, I doubt that it's that much, although that probably would explain where yellow jackets come from. From California where it's definitely better to get honey from a hive than hives from your honey. Bill
Guest guest
LOL You'd be surprised how much they can pee. Go out on the first warm day after a long snowy time, before the snow melts but in the 40s. Check out all the little yellow polka dots around a bee hive. It's unreal. From california where bees on Lasix are used to polinate nut trees. They especially like the pecans. Bill

Bridget: So is mine, but God help me if Martha ever finds out! (Just joking!) From California where Martha and I have a carbohydrate relationship. I get all the sugar I need as long as my starch holds out. Bill
