Guest guest Posted June 18, 2004 Report Share Posted June 18, 2004 this is around 55 minutes of basic beginner yoga poses which are instructed by alan finger. this tape is perfect for a yoga newbie like me..... alan gives very detailed and precise instruction. i feel that my past yoga instruction has been in bits and pieces from different instructors here and there. alan explains the whole thing and does it well. he uses alot of accurate visualizations to aid his words. his speaking voice is pleasant and relaxing and he is quite reassuring to newbies. alan has 4 people of varying abilities doing the poses as he instructs and their form is very good. the workout begins with sitting poses, progressing to all fours and then standing work. the yoga itself lasts for about 45 minutes, including a lesson on proper breathing at the beginning. afterward alan leads you through a relaxation period. *~*~*~*~* Carolyn --- Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
