::nodding:: but sometimes i like to have it all picked out for me and

sometimes i dont! heehee.

and i know that you do something like this too... but when im not doing a

pre-defined rotation (like power half hour or slim series for example which

come with their own rotations all set out for you), i like to follow a

generalized rotation which looks like this:

1 - cardio

2 - cardio+sculpt (combined. as in the firm for example)

3 - cardio

4 - sculpt

5 - cardio

6 - abs + lower body

7 - stretch/yoga

since i know what category of workout im supposed to be doing, all i have

to do is pick a workout from the category. that is hard enough to do, let

alone figure out if it is a sculpting day or not...lol.

I like your schedule! I think I'll try it out sometime soon... Has quite a

bit of potential for variety. I think what I need is to find some type of

non-kickboxing (although I really do love & Cathe) non-step aerobic

workouts. I have a few hi/lo workouts but none that really " grab " me, if

you know what I mean, and I figure I really shouldn't do step all the time.

I'm going to save your plan for future reference, though!

I'm doing:

Strength

Cardio

Interval Cardio

Yoga

Rest or Repeat until appropriate time to rest!

  • 4 weeks later...

Hi,

Still not feeling all that energetic - but DD slept through last night, so

I'm hoping she is feeling better from her cold. I'm still dragging. I

almost didn't workout this morning but figured I'd feel better if I did (and

I do!)

Anyway, today I did the cardio from KV's Sleek Physique/Burn & Firm; did the

upper body and abs from Sleek Physique and Burn & Firm and did Quick

Callanetics Hips & Behind -- this one had some new moves that were really

tough for me! Callan is a strange lady and says some off-the-wall things

sometimes, but I think her workouts are effective. I would have liked to

have time for more stretching, but ran out of it!

Take care!

Donna

I know what you mean -- lately I'm sort of " off " yoga and more into

Pilates-ish workouts. I tend to go back and forth between the two. I am

getting psyched about YBB/Tae Bo! After Timesaver for another week or two.

Donna

i would also like to rotate in some pilates and slim series
