Guest guest
Hi Jeanette, Yes, I can relate! DH's tend to throw everything off schedule. It is excellent that you did something at 11 pm! that is amazing! How old are your kids (sorry if I asked before)? I workout early b/c I wouldn't get it done if I waited until my DD went to bed (after she goes to bed, I pretty much do, too!!) Take care, Donna > >I intended to get in at least an hour of exercise today, but didn't get >there. Guest guest
Donna, My kids are 7, 5, and 2. I have thought about trying to get up super-early to work out but there is just no freakin' way! LOL! Over the last couple years I seem to have become an anti-morning person. LOL! Plus, they always wake up at the slightest noise in the a.m. I am usually up until at least midnight after the kids go to bed these days so getting up that early would be hard. I am sure with some self-discipline I could get myself back on an early schedule, though. I was doing it, but like I said, they would be right up with me. Then they would all drop off for short naps - of course all 3 would drift off at different times. Then they would be up late because of the nap and I would be grumpy and tired because I wanted to go to bed. LOL! I know, I know, sounds like I am making excuses here. Guest guest
Hi Jeannette! Doesn't sound like making excuses to me!! Working out when it works for your schedule makes the most sense! I'm lucky b/c my DD is a good sleeper - virtually nothing wakes her up -- we've had our smoke detector go off while cooking and that hasn't woken her up! LOL! If given freedom of choice, I'd probably work out in the evenings, but these days getting it done first thing in the morning works for me right now. Hang in there!
