Guest guest
Yes, I have felt that way once - but I was short of breath a bit as well. I was in the beginning stages of CHF. I was lucky enough that with proper diet and increased diuretics I was able to reverse the CHF. It really scared me into a healthy way of life... Remember a diagnosis of CHF is not a death sentence - it can be reversed. CALL THE DOC TOMORROW MORNING! ~guin Re: Question to everyone> > > Turk, today I was looking over the information on CHF on the Medtronic site for patients. They mentioned that some of the symptoms of CHF was bloating in the abdomen (specifically the liver) and swelling...trouble resting, because of the fluid build up in the lungs. There were other symptoms, but hearing you mention these specific ones, makes me wonder...> Hope you get to feeling better, keep in touch and let us know what you find out.> love,> > > > Please visit the Zapper homepage at> http://www.ZapLife.org > > >
Guest guest
Thanks Guin, I did call and they scheduled me for an Echo tomorrow and to see the doc 5/18. Now my left elbow has gone all wonky. Swollen, red, painful. I'm seeing my GP this afternoon for that. I'm thinking it's some sort of inflamation, but man is it starting to bother me. And if that isn't enough, my BP decided to start spiking up to around 140/100 so I'm back to full doses of Mavik. Half doses had it completely under control all winter. Now suddenly it isn't working. I am not a happy camper right now! Bridget > > That is what happened to . The swelling was in the stomach > area. He had a lot of trouble breathing. No swelling of the ankles > or hands. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone else who shared too. I do think this is CHF I just don't want to face it. Bridget > Thanks Guin,
Guest guest
Bridget; Please ask you GP to check your heart and BP as well while you are there - May 18th -- You need to see someone sooner - Hopefully your GP will conquer and you can be on the road to recovery sooner. Good luck and keep us posted, guin Re: Question to everyone> > > > > > Turk, today I was looking over the information on CHF on the > Medtronic site for patients. Guest guest
He did listen to my heart and noted that my BP is up. I had the echo today. I asked them to put a note in to the doc asking for the water pills now. I don't want to wait, my ankles are driving me nuts. Bridget > > > That is what happened to .
