Thrift Stores.. a little OT

 

Thrift stores are the best watering holes for all sorts of things.

The only clothes I buy new are shoes and undies.

My wardrobe is very high end because my mother used to sew and I know

fabric, cut and style.

I too am on the look out for a Vitamix for my diabetic uncle. I have

turned him on to greens, next is smoothies!

They are wonderful for sick elderly folk because no cooking is involved!

My uncle lives in Maine and my hubby and I have marked out all the high

end thrift stores between here and there to find this appliance.

I used to do a used book business..and turned many a 1 dollar book into

a heft profit.

I love this marvelous eat well, save a buck group!

Amen to that...I bought my Vitamix 5000 at a thrift store for $6.99. Can you believe it? It works great! My diligence paid off!
