Guest guest
Hi a, what is emergency workout like? I like both S & G and FE. FE has always been my " comeback " workout - the one I do after a lay off. It is just enough! Donna > >Carolyn, I have the individual tapes. I like them but some are easy >and some are intermediate. Guest guest
Donna, Emergency work out is more like traditional aerobics and not as " meditative " as Minna's other workouts. It has 30 min of cardio and 30 min of weights. The cardio is intermediate but really fun. I love Minna's personality...and gosh to look like her would be awesome. I probably do this tape once every three weeks...which is pretty regular for me. She does combines sport aerobics with dancier moves by doing the dancy moves on one side of the room, after that combo you grapevine to the other side of the room and do the sports stuff...jacks squats etc... then you grapevine back for dance. You can modify the intensity of this workout to be easy or advanced by adding or deleting jumps. a > Hi a, > > what is emergency workout like? I like both S & G and FE. Guest guest
today i did a quick 30 minute workout from a dvd that donna bought for me (i did send her the money for the dvd and the shipping ...lol)... thanks again donna!). it was quick fix: total mix. minna lessing is one of the 3 girls who lead the segments on this disc. she kind of reminds me of sarah jessica parker... must be her hair. anyway, there are nine 10 minute segments on the disc and they provide a blender so that you can mix and match them into a maximum 30 minute workout. there are three 10 min segments for abs, three 10 min segments for buns and three 10 min segments for legs/arms. so i just picked the first segment for each area to make up my workout for today. each instructor takes turns doing a segment. i felt the abs workout, the buns workout was fine but kind of easy and the legs/arms segment really got me sweating and panting as minna compounded the moves (she did upper and lower body moves together at the same time). i could only use 5 pound dumbells during this routine as they move quickly (and due to the compounding). oh and there are very very quick warmups and cooldowns on this disc for each workout but i still did my own as i didnt feel that the warmups/cooldowns supplied were adequate. overall i enjoyed the quick workout today. i liked all of the instructors and all of the moves. i was supposed to do another 30 mins but i wimped out and decided to do yoga later tonight instead. i will do another 30 minutes from this disc tomorrow, along with 30 mins of stretching. -carolyn.
