Guest guest
A f riend of my family, all of us kids grew up together. One day ( the youngest of us all) about 6 at the time , told her mum she was running away, and wanted to dob on her for being mean. So Pat says- " well look up the " Bad mothers Association of Meanness " and call them- they will help you run away and find a better place to stay " . sat there looking in the phone book for ages- came back and said- " its no good mum- no matter how hard I try I cant read- you will get off this time ........ " The things kids say and do hehehehehehehehe > We've had > some pretty silly times around here. > Jessie > > > >
Guest guest
Tim wanders but doesn't do the flop n drop, as he's getting jolly heavy at 45 lbs I am extremely grateful for this! His wandering has become a problem really only since I have allowed him greater independance and as he tests his new boundaries, and its also only a prooblem when his brother is babysitting so maybe its his brother I should be training! sue wong Re: blake wandered off today > My son wandered until he was between 8-10yrs old. he now just carelessly rans > into the parking lots. Guest guest
When my daughter was 4, she got mad at me for something and decided to run away. She packed her bags and went over to my elderly neighbors (I watched her go and called and warned the neighbor). She asked if she could live with them cause she didn't like her house anymore. She loved my neighbors and they loved her. Anyway they let her come in and put her to work (smart neighbors). Told her everyone had to pitch in at their house. Had her drying dishes, etc. Anyway we were going to be leaving for Florida and Disneyland in two days. My neighbor casually mentioned to that it would be " to bad your not going to see Mickey Mouse " looked horified (I am told) and asked " How come? " After the neighbor ex[plained that she was her little girl now and they weren't going to Disney World said " she thought she better go home " She came to the front door and knocked. When I answered it she asked me with tears in her eyes, if she could live here again. She missed us. Of course I said yes LOL. Needless to say we went to Disney World and never ran away again. It was a classic and I love remembering it!! Loree
