Guest guest
Thanks, Margie, I don't consume sugar or soda, but do use salt. I rotate my greens, drink tons of purified water and I have so many other things to worry about that I'm not going to fret about this! thanks, Joyce > > > > > > I got this in an email this AM from Clever Homeakers' group. " Enhanced " water is equally as bad. Just a heads up from someone who was getting as sick from my " pure " water as I was from other things. I now drink spring water only. And I recommend sea salt to avoid the anti caking stuff in regular salt. Again, only posting because I found these two things to be totally interfering with my efforts to good health. Guest guest
Hi Margie, We use Nikken Pi Mag water which has minerals in it; no chemical purification involved--what are you referring to when you say " enhanced " water? thanks, Joyce > > > > Thanks, Margie, > > > > I don't consume sugar or soda, but do use salt. Guest guest
WOW! thank you for this info. I just inherited my vitamix from my Grandfather and was very excited to start. Last thursday was my first time using it so I made a green smoothie with lots of greens and spinach. It was good and I felt great until later on that night. I was exhausted and had bad pain in the kidney area (never had that before). Went to bed early and the next day I felt fine but had a fruit smoothie instead. I wonder if it was the greens bothering my kidneys? I only had one big glass. What do you think? I am new here and glad I found you thanks > > I got this in an email this AM from Clever Homeakers' group. Guest guest
Hi , How and where do you get your spring water? thanks, Joyce Also, does anyone have a list of states where it is legal to buy raw dairy products (unpasturized?) It was illegal in NJ where we just moved from, but I'm not sure about VA where we live now! thanks! > > The Nikken pi mag unit has been researched and proven to not work

It was illegal in NJ where we just moved from, but I'm not sure about VA where we live now! thanks! I am fortunate enough to have a wonderful ex husband who lugs me 5 gallon jugs 3 times a week from his house-he has an awesome spring water well. I wish I could recommend a source for you, but really don't have a clue what I would do if this darling man didn't do this for me! I have reacted to just about all other water I have tried. It was actually his idea to start bringing me water-I call him my personal Culligan man! As for raw milk, MOST places have food co ops where you can get raw milk as a member, or cow share programs; We had neither where I live, so I bought some cows and pay a farmer to take care of them for me-WELL worth the investment! I avoided dairy most of my life due to EXTREME allergy to milk, but I thrive on the raw stuff. We sometimes have to resort to unconventional means to get what we need, especially when dealing with chronic food allergies!
Guest guest
Hi Stacey and , Stacey--that is too funny! I'll have to ask at the local (non-chain) health food store and see what I can find out. How does raw milk taste? I grew up in upstate NY two houses down from a dairy farm. We spent lots of time there as we were great friends with their boys. However, I remember the times that we had raw milk at their house, I swear it smelled like cow manure and/or had a really different taste than our store bought milk. Maybe I was just too young to appreciate it; however, one of their boys was class valdictorian and the other Saluditorian (I don't think I spelled those correctly, and I can never figure out how to spell check on google.) Does the fat in raw dairy products have any beneficial properties like Omega 3's do? , you should count your blessings that your ex takes such good care of you My parents live near Lake Placid, NY and get their water from an artisan well that someone placed a faucet on so that everyone can use it for free. It tastes great, however, even up here in the Adirondack Park (6 million square miles) acid rain is getting into the lakes and water supplies. Does anyone put alkalizing PH drops in their water? Much of American water supply is overly acidic and, of course, we all know that we want our bodies PH to be as alkaline as possible. thanks all!
