You are most welcome, Janice. I didn't say MII didn't make a lot of suds-I just said we don't NEED a lot of suds to get things clean! MII is SUPER concentrated stuff, and it will suds up a storm if used full strength. I need so little in any of my concoctions that a bottle lasts me for ages. I am not sure where all you can buy it-I get mine from my co op, which is how I discovered it in the first place. I have never bothered to look any where else, quite frankly-it may very well be available other places-I am just not sure. As for peroxide, I often get asked about the "bleaching" potential of it. I use peroxide in EVERYTHING-to mop my floors (I have a scooba robot floor washer, and I pour in half water, half peroxide, no problems and I also use it in my carpet steamer-again, no worries-has never changed the color of my carpet in the 5 years of steaming it monthly with the solution) The type of peroxide sold in stores is only 3 percent-enough to kill germs, b ut not enough to "bleach" anything. I have some food grade peroxide that is 35 percent, but I would NOT use that in my laundry or soaps. I freely splash peroxide all over the place, and have never had an issue with it. I wear a lot of colored clothes, and my towels are all pretty colorful-have never had any problem. The baking soda neutralizes the bleaching capacity, without bothering the germ killing.-NC~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
