It is used for things like tomatoes when canning. It costs around 2.00 for 4 oz. can. Or you can call your local chemical supply house and get it in large quantities, usually 50 lb. sacks. From Nature With Love carries it for 2.50 per lb. plus shipping. So if you don't want to buy 50 lbs. and can't find it at your grocery store I would suggest calling Kibby.
