Guest guest Posted May 23, 2010 Report Share Posted May 23, 2010 OK...so, I have canned goods and would like to use them up rather than throw out.....my real asparagus that I grow in my garden is done for the season because I have so little plants also and I eat it raw ~ sometimes before it makes it to the kitchen.... Does anyone have a recipe to use a can of asparagus? (which is only asparagus, water and salt)....I can drain and rinse several times to remove most of the salt. Appreciate any feedback as I am unexperienced as to mix with what fruit if I were going to drink a smoothie. I would *guess* the basics ~ banana, apple, pineapple and ?? I realize that asparagus might have a strong taste to actually cover up so I thought I would come to the experts for help..... Thanks again ~ my wheels are turning.....
